The North Greenville Food Crisis Ministry is currently holding our annual school supply drive. This program helps families in northern Greenville County who need assistance providing the very basic materials for their children’s education.
In 2009 NGFCM gave backpacks and school supplies to more than 200 students in our community. Due to the economy this year the need is even greater. Thanks to a very generous community, many students will arrive in their classrooms with the necessary supplies to start the year properly.
You can support this program by dropping off donations at the NGFCM office, 37 S. Main Street, in Travelers Rest. Especially needed are backpacks, but any school supplies will be greatly appreciated.
